Major stock indices in Europe opened with collective gains. The Euro Stoxx 50 index rose by 0.15%, the UK's FTSE 100 index rose by 0.33%, the French CAC 40 index rose by 0.26%, the German DAX 30 index rose by 0.11%, and the FTSE MIB index in Italy rose by 0.13%.
