In August 2025, the year-on-year decrease in consumer prices in the province was 0.3%, an increase of 0.2 percentage points from the previous month. The month-on-month change in consumer prices in the province went from a 0.4% increase to flat. In August, the year-on-year decrease in industrial producer prices in Zhejiang was 2.4%, remaining flat on a monthly basis; while the year-on-year decrease in industrial producer purchase prices was 5.0%, with a 0.1% increase on a monthly basis.
