American data center operator secures $1.6 billion investment from sovereign wealth fund.

Sovereign wealth funds from the Singapore government investment company and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority will invest $1.6 billion in a US data center provider to expand its business in the Asia-Pacific region. US company Vantage Data Centers said on Thursday that the investment will support its acquisition of Yondr's campus in Johor, Malaysia, and provide additional capital for its Asia-Pacific platform.
