Last week, Japanese investors' net investment in foreign stocks reached the highest level in four months. This is because the market expects the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates at its September policy meeting to help cool down the US labor market. According to data from the Japanese Ministry of Finance, in the week ending September 6, Japanese investors bought a net total of 891.1 billion yen of foreign stocks, the largest single-week purchase amount since May 3.
