Starting from September 15th, electronic exclusion zone permits for Sha Tau Kok, Hong Kong can be applied for and completed within two days.

Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government has been gradually opening Sha Tau Kok since June 2022, attracting many tourists to visit. Sha Tau Kok has also become a new popular tourist destination in Hong Kong. The Security Bureau of the SAR Government announced today that the Police Force has optimized the platform for electronic restricted area permits. Starting from September 15th, citizens only need to submit all necessary documents on the online platform, and in general, the application can be completed within one to two working days, making it easier for them to visit Sha Tau Kok for sightseeing.
