This morning, the State Council Information Office held a series of theme press conferences on "high-quality completion of the '14th Five-Year Plan'", introducing the achievements of health development work during the '14th Five-Year Plan' period. According to the introduction, by the end of 2024, the number of pediatric practicing physicians in China has reached 243,900, an increase of 49.3% compared to 163,400 in 2020; the number of pediatric beds per 1,000 children has reached 2.47, an increase of 13.3% compared to 2.18 in 2020, significantly improving accessibility and professionalism.
