According to the news on the "Shanghai Business" WeChat official account on the evening of September 10th, based on the progress of the Shanghai home appliance trade-in subsidy program, in order to better meet the needs of consumers, it has been decided after research to adjust the rules of the home appliance trade-in subsidy program. The adjusted rules of the event are hereby announced as follows. 1. From September 20th, 2025 to December 31st, the home appliance trade-in subsidy program will be conducted in the manner of "consumer registration, public lottery, and qualification confirmation." In principle, a round of registration will be held every two weeks. The first round of registration will be from September 20th to 22nd, and the subsequent rounds of registration and related arrangements will be announced separately on the "Shanghai Business" WeChat official account. 2. Categories covered by the program: National subsidy categories include refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, air conditioners, computers, water heaters, household cookers, range hoods, microwave ovens, water purifiers, dishwashers, rice cookers, mobile phones, tablets, and smartwatches.
