According to the British Broadcasting Corporation, as reported by the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, on the morning of the 10th, the co-founder of Oracle, Larry Ellison, saw his fortune soar to $393 billion, surpassing Musk to become the world's richest person. However, by the end of the day, Oracle's stock price had retraced some of its gains, allowing Musk to once again reclaim the title of the richest person in the world. Prior to briefly being surpassed by Ellison, Musk had held the title of the world's richest person for nearly a year.
