The National Bureau of Statistics listens to the opinions of private entrepreneurs in the digital economy.

During the 2025 China International Big Data Industry Expo, Liu Liehong, secretary of the Party group and director of the National Bureau of Statistics, presided over a symposium with private enterprises in the digital economy. He listened to the operating conditions, challenges, and suggestions for promoting the development of the digital economy during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period from companies such as Teradata, Meiri Interactive, Anheng Information, Yunji Huahai, Sangfor, and Langma Information. Liu Liehong stated that private enterprises in the digital economy have strong innovative drive and vitality. The "14th Five-Year Plan" period is a critical stage for promoting high-quality development of the digital economy. The National Bureau of Statistics will focus on coordinating the planning and construction of the digital economy, deepen the reform of market-oriented allocation of data elements, continuously improve the policy toolbox, actively discover and cultivate innovative digital economy enterprises, support the construction of a number of demonstration areas with strong driving effect in the data industry, promote the construction of high-quality data sets, strengthen the value recognition of data elements, continuously improve the ability to supply data resources, and cultivate a social consensus of "paying for high-quality data".
