In the first 8 months of this year, domestic excavator sales increased by over 20% year-on-year, while exports increased by over 12%. According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, in August 2025, major excavator manufacturers sold a total of 16,523 excavators, a year-on-year increase of 12.8%. Of these, 7,685 were sold domestically, up 14.8% year-on-year, and 8,838 were exported, up 11.1% year-on-year. 31 electric excavators were sold. From January to August 2025, major excavator manufacturers sold a total of 154,200 excavators, up 17.2% year-on-year. Of these, 80,628 were sold domestically, up 21.5% year-on-year, and 73,553 were exported, up 12.8% year-on-year. Loader sales also maintained steady growth. During the same period, major loader manufacturers sold a total of 9,440 loaders, up 13.3% year-on-year. Of these, 4,774 were sold domestically, up 18.3% year-on-year, and 4,666 were exported, up 8.69% year-on-year. 2,477 electric loaders were sold. From January to August 2025, major loader manufacturers sold a total of 83,209 loaders, up 12.9% year-on-year. Of these, 44,945 were sold domestically, up 20.2% year-on-year, and 38,264 were exported, up 5.3% year-on-year. In that month, the working hours and rates of construction machinery, which reflect the heat of engineering construction, all decreased year-on-year and month-on-month.
