Governor of the People's Bank of China, Pan Gongsheng attended the BIS Governors' Meeting and held a series of bilateral meetings.

On September 7th and 8th, 2025, Pan Gongsheng, the Governor of the People's Bank of China, attended the Governors Meeting of the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland. During the meeting, central bank governors exchanged views on the international economic and financial situation, recent trends in international asset prices, the impact of changes in the labor market on monetary policy, the impact of the US dollar on emerging market economies, and central bank monetary policy frameworks. During the meeting, Governor Pan Gongsheng also met with the Governors of the Bank of Korea, the Bank of Thailand, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and the Central Bank of Brazil to exchange views on bilateral financial cooperation and other issues.
