Shanghai: Accelerate the establishment of a modern ecological environment monitoring system.

The Shanghai Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau has issued the "Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Establishment of a Modern Ecological Environment Monitoring System in Shanghai", proposing to accelerate the construction of an integrated monitoring network covering the sky, land, and sea, improve the atmospheric and aquatic ecological environment monitoring network, expand the ecological quality monitoring network, strengthen the greenhouse gas monitoring network, and improve the radiation environmental monitoring network. Specifically, it emphasizes the strengthening of fine control support for ozone and key precursor substances, upgrading the monitoring capabilities of the atmospheric multifunctional super station network, establishing boundary layer atmospheric composite pollution three-dimensional monitoring stations, and advancing the network of atmospheric free radical monitoring. It aims to improve the efficiency of identifying abnormal emissions from mobile sources, construct fixed and mobile monitoring networks for vehicle emissions on major roads, and improve the remote online monitoring network for diesel vehicles and off-road mobile machinery.
