On September 9th, Vice President Han attended and delivered a speech at the 2025 Global Energy Internet Conference in Beijing. Han put forward four proposals. First, jointly promote the green and low-carbon transformation of energy. Deepen cooperation in the fields of renewable energy generation, grid interconnection, smart energy, and promote the effective implementation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and its Paris Agreement. Second, jointly promote energy technology innovation. Jointly carry out research and development of clean energy utilization technology, promote the deep integration and development of energy and power with modern information, new materials, advanced manufacturing and other areas of technology. Third, jointly promote sustainable energy development. Strengthen cooperation on energy accessibility, help developing countries improve their energy security and levels. Fourth, jointly promote energy resource and production capacity cooperation. Promote cross-border and cross-regional energy infrastructure connectivity, achieve mutually beneficial cooperation and win-win results.
