The Hangzhou Economic and Information Technology Bureau is soliciting opinions on the "Three-Year Action Plan for the Development of Embodied Intelligent Robots in Hangzhou". The draft proposal calls for accelerated research on core key technologies, including strengthening research on intelligent decision-making and control technology, intelligent computing chips, and basic software technology for embodied intelligent robots. It also highlights the need to develop core power components, high-precision reducers, and precision transmission parts, as well as advanced sensors such as electronic skin and six-axis force sensors. Furthermore, the plan includes speeding up the commercialization of high-energy efficiency joint modules, dexterous hands, and other integrated components, as well as supporting research and development of new materials such as solid-state batteries and lightweight alloys. The plan aims to leverage the innovation advantages of leading companies in the field of visual intelligence to support the research and development of visual intelligence bodies. It also encourages advanced manufacturing companies involved in additive manufacturing, turning, and die casting to participate in the technological breakthroughs of the robot industry chain to enhance production and manufacturing capabilities. The goal is to establish more than 10 industry-academia-research cooperation projects by 2027, with no less than 10 technology achievements being successfully commercialized.
