Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen Campus established the Low Altitude Science and Technology Research Institute.

In order to implement the national strategy for the development of low-altitude economy and serve the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen Campus recently established the Low-Altitude Science and Technology Research Institute. The institute focuses on the major strategic needs of national development, based on the school's academic characteristics and Shenzhen's industrial advantages, and aims to tackle major foundational and forward-looking scientific and technological issues in the low-altitude field. It will promote key core technology breakthroughs, expand application scenarios, and cultivate high-level talents. It will fully leverage the advantages of Harbin Institute of Technology in education and Shenzhen's innovation strengths, contributing to the development of the "20+8" industry cluster in Shenzhen and promoting the high-quality development of low-altitude economy in China.
