During the period of the 14th Five-Year Plan, major breakthroughs in these national key technologies continue to be achieved.

On September 9, the State Council Information Office held a series of themed press conferences on "high-quality completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan", introducing the efforts to vigorously promote new industrialization and consolidate and strengthen the foundation of the real economy during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. At the conference, it was introduced that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China has achieved a number of landmark breakthroughs in promoting the construction of a strong country. In terms of technological innovation, achievements such as the C919 large aircraft flying in the sky, the AG600 large amphibious firefighting aircraft, and the Long March 7 carrier rocket carrying the Tianzhou 9 cargo spacecraft have been highlighted. Other significant achievements include the completion of the "Shenda Tower 1" well drilling reaching a depth of 10,910 meters underground, the operation of the large cruise ship "Aida Mordor", and the commissioning of the deep-sea drilling ship "Dream Boat". In terms of improving people's livelihood, new agricultural machinery equipment has strengthened the contemporary food security barrier, while advanced medical equipment such as domestic orthopedic surgical robots and laparoscopic soft tissue surgical robots have been developed successfully, greatly improving the accuracy of surgery and reducing the pain of patients. During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, China will continue to coordinate the reconstruction of industrial foundations and major technological equipment research and development, systematically layout research and development tasks, accelerate the construction of a major technological equipment system that meets supply and demand, high quality and efficiency, and promote the high-end, intelligent, green, and international development of major technological equipment, striving to achieve more outstanding results.
