Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: China's production and sales of new energy vehicles have maintained the global top spot for 10 consecutive years.

From 2020 to 2024, the value added of China's equipment manufacturing and high-tech manufacturing industries increased by an average of 7.9% and 8.7% respectively, with their proportion in the national industrial sector rising to 34.6% and 16.3% respectively. The production of new energy vehicles exceeded 13 million in 2024, maintaining the global number one position in both production and sales for 10 consecutive years. The international market share of the shipbuilding industry continues to lead globally.
