The investigation into the safety accident at Xiangyang Longbai Titanium Industry has been upgraded.

On the morning of the 9th, Xiangyang Emergency Management Bureau learned that the safety accident at Xiangyang Longbai Titanium Industry has been escalated for investigation. The investigation is now being handled by Hubei Provincial Emergency Management Department, and the details of the accident will be released to the public after accident identification. The sulfuric acid production line of Longbai Xiangyang Titanium Industry Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Longbai Group, had a safety accident on the evening of September 2, resulting in 2 deaths, 3 people sent to the hospital and died after ineffective rescue, and 1 person currently in stable condition after surgery.
