China continues to lead the inflow of funds into emerging market ETFs.

Last week, investors increased their investment in emerging market stocks and bonds traded on exchanges. Such ETFs recorded their fourth consecutive week of inflows, with China still being the main attraction for funds. Data shows that as of the week ending on September 5th, the total inflow of funds into US-listed emerging market ETFs investing in developing countries and specific countries reached $1.02 billion, compared to $109.7 million in the previous week. So far this year, the total inflow is $17.7 billion. Of this, $535.7 million flowed into stock ETFs and $483.3 million into bond ETFs. The MSCI Emerging Markets Index rose by 1.4% last week to 1,276.05 points. Looking at individual markets, China saw the highest inflow of funds, reaching $301.9 million.
