BYD Executive Vice President Li Ke said on Monday at the Munich Motor Show that the company is in talks with hundreds of local suppliers and plans to open over 1000 stores in 32 countries in Europe by the end of the year. BYD has increased the number of models sold in Europe from 6 two years ago to 13. The latest model launched by BYD in Europe is the plug-in hybrid touring car Seal 6 DM-i Touring with a combined range of 1,350 kilometers (839 miles) on gasoline and battery power.
