The "Baidu Highest Award" was established in July 2010 to encourage "small teams to achieve great success" and is the highest level award given by Baidu, providing each winning team with a reward of 1 million US dollars. The selection criteria for the award include significant project importance, results exceeding expectations, and a small enough team size of less than or equal to 10 people. The winning team of this year's Baidu Highest Award is the "Flow" team, which has pioneered end-to-end multimodal content understanding and sequential generation technology.
