In December 2024, the construction of Shenzhen's "City of Supercharging" made a major breakthrough, successfully completing the construction goal of over a thousand supercharging stations, becoming the first city to have more supercharging stations than gas stations and more charging guns than gas pumps, establishing a comprehensive and powerful infrastructure for the development of new energy vehicles. Currently, Shenzhen has completed and put into operation a total of 1055 supercharging stations and over 420,000 charging piles.
