China Passenger Car Association: In August, the national passenger car market sold 1.995 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%.

According to the Zhixun Finance and Economics APP, data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers shows that in August, the national retail sales of passenger vehicles reached 1.995 million, an increase of 4.6% year-on-year and 8.2% month-on-month. Since the beginning of the year, the cumulative retail sales have reached 14.741 million, an increase of 9.5% year-on-year. The retail sales volume in August this year hit a new high, increasing by 3.7% compared to the historical high of 1.92 million in August 2023, showing a gradually slowing growth trend.
