According to the Securities Times APP, Christopher Hui Ching-yu, the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of Hong Kong, pointed out at the Hong Kong Green Finance Association Annual Forum that Hong Kong is expanding its green financial technology ecosystem and positioning itself as a regional green financial technology center. He mentioned that the Inter-agency Steering Group on Green and Sustainable Finance has released the "Hong Kong Green Finance Technology Map" this year, and funding has been approved for 60 green financial technology projects under the Green and Sustainable Finance Technology Concept Validation Testing Program. Hong Kong will also explore cooperation with other central banks to improve the transparency and efficiency of carbon credit trading using blockchain technology.
