Our country plans to amend the foreign trade law, elevating some reform measures to legal system.

The draft amendment of the Foreign Trade Law will be submitted for deliberation at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on the 8th. This draft amendment, consisting of 11 chapters and 80 articles, will elevate reform measures such as the negative list management system for cross-border services trade to a legal system to ensure the effectiveness of the reform measures. In terms of implementing the reform measures, the draft amendment stipulates that the country must actively align with international high-standard economic and trade rules, actively participate in the formulation of international economic and trade rules, and elevate reform measures such as the negative list management system for cross-border services trade, support and promote the development of new formats and models of foreign trade, support and encourage the development of digital trade, and accelerate the establishment of a green trade system to legal status.
