Recently, Bode Trust Insurance Asset Management Co., Ltd. (referred to as Bode Trust Asset Management) was approved to be established by American Bode Trust Insurance directly. It is the first wholly-owned insurance asset management company in China to be directly established by a foreign financial institution. The previous practice was for foreign institutions to first establish insurance institutions in China and then have domestic insurance institutions invest in establishing insurance asset management companies.
