On September 7, the last piece of concrete was placed in the mold of the Jiangdi Niulan River super bridge, a key project of the Yunnan section of the Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway. With a length of 568 meters, the bridge is now completed, marking the completion of 87.4% of the "super project" of bridges and tunnels. The Jiangdi Niulan River super bridge spans Yunnan and Guizhou, with a pier height of 122 meters and a main span of 160 meters. It is currently the first high-speed railway super bridge in Yunnan with a height exceeding 500 meters and pier height exceeding 100 meters. The area is prone to strong winds and falling rocks, but China Railway Second Railway Engineering Bureau used a set of technologies including fully enclosed hydraulic climbing forms, centimeter-level alignment using Beidou satellite navigation, and intelligent temperature-controlled curing to reduce high-altitude errors to millimeter level, filling a gap in the construction of large-span beams in V-shaped canyons on the plateau.
