Media reports citing meeting records obtained by them said that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the United States plans to open a fast track for the review of nicotine pouch products for four tobacco companies in a pilot project set to launch on Monday. The FDA aims to complete the review of nicotine pouch products from Philip Morris International, Altria, Reynolds American, and Turning Point Brands by December. These products will undergo a simplified and shortened application process for review.
