General Administration of Customs: From January to August this year, the import and export of private enterprises reached 16.89 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.4%.

According to customs statistics, in the first 8 months of 2025, the import and export volume of private enterprises reached 16.89 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.4%, accounting for 57.1% of the total value of China's foreign trade, up 2.1 percentage points from the same period last year; the import and export volume of foreign-invested enterprises reached 8.59 trillion yuan, an increase of 2.3%, accounting for 29.1% of China's foreign trade total value; the import and export volume of state-owned enterprises reached 4.02 trillion yuan, a decrease of 8.1%, accounting for 13.6% of China's foreign trade total value.
