The Central Meteorological Observatory continues to issue a yellow typhoon warning at 10:00 on September 8th.

Typhoon No. 16 of this year, "Typhoon Tabar," landed on the coast of Taishan City, Guangdong Province around 8:50 am this morning. At the time of landing, the maximum wind near the center was level 11, with a minimum central pressure of 978 hPa. At 9 am, the center was located within the jurisdiction of Taishan City, Guangdong Province, at 21.8 degrees north latitude and 112.6 degrees east longitude, with the maximum wind near the center at level 11 and a minimum central pressure of 978 hPa. It is expected that "Typhoon Tabar" will move northwest at a speed of 20-25 kilometers per hour and will move into Guangxi Province by this evening, weakening into a tropical depression.
