Solid progress in the construction of a marine power, the "2025 China Ocean Development Index Report" is released.

On September 8th, the National Marine Information Center and China Ocean Development Research Association released the "2025 China Ocean Development Index Report". The index is based on 2015 with a base index value of 100. The report shows that in 2024, China's Ocean Development Index was 129.7, an increase of 2.9% compared to the previous year, indicating steady and high-quality development of the ocean and solid progress in building a strong maritime country.
