At the end of August, our country's foreign exchange reserves increased to $332.22 billion.
On September 7, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange released the data on the size of foreign exchange reserves at the end of August 2025. The data shows that as of the end of August 2025, China's foreign exchange reserves stood at $332.22 billion, an increase of $29.9 billion from the end of July, representing a 0.91% increase. The foreign exchange administration stated that in August 2025, due to factors such as expectations of major economies' monetary policies and macroeconomic data, the US dollar index fell and global financial asset prices generally rose. The comprehensive impact of exchange rate conversion and changes in asset prices led to an increase in the size of foreign exchange reserves that month.
