The National Medical Insurance Bureau issued a public announcement on the public selection of research units for the year 2025. According to the work needs, one research topic is now open to the public for selection of the responsible unit. Research topic: Optimization and application research on the assessment standards for disability levels in long-term care insurance. Research purpose: To coordinate current standards for assessing the abilities and care needs of elderly and disabled individuals in the country, and optimize and improve the system of assessment standards for disability levels in long-term care insurance by integrating medical testing, diagnostic information, and medical insurance big data. Introduce evaluation elements that are more quantifiable, traceable, and objectively assessable, improve the professionalism, objectivity, accuracy, and compatibility of the evaluation, promote adaptability in multiple scenarios, formulate policy recommendations for improving nationally unified disability level assessment standards, promoting national recognition of assessment results, and the use of relevant departments as needed.
