Thailand's elected Prime Minister Anutin begins forming his cabinet.
According to Thailand's public television station, on the 6th, Prime Minister-elect Anutin started forming a minority cabinet, and has announced three ministerial candidates so far. Anutin is planning to appoint Ene Ti Nititapong as Finance Minister, Sihasa Pangcho as Foreign Minister, and Odo Pong Rubiwan as Energy Minister. They are all non-partisan and not members of parliament. In the afternoon of the 6th, Anutin met with them and announced the nominations to the media at the headquarters of the Proud Thai Party. Anutin, the leader of the Proud Thai Party, received majority support in a special session of the lower house of parliament on the 5th and will be the new Prime Minister of Thailand. According to Thai media reports, the Speaker of the Thai Parliament has already submitted the election results to the King, and it is expected that the King will approve on the 7th or 8th.
