According to the Central Meteorological Observatory on September 6th, Typhoon "Taba", the 16th typhoon of this year, was generated tonight, with its center located at 20:00 approximately 610 kilometers southeast of Dianbai District, Maoming City, Guangdong Province. The maximum wind force near the center is level 8. It is expected that "Taba" will gradually strengthen as it moves west-northwestward at a speed of 10-15 kilometers per hour. Southern China, Guizhou, Yunnan, the southern part of the South China Sea, and the coastal areas of southern China will be affected by strong winds and rain.
