The world's highest altitude ultra-high voltage direct current project officially delivers electricity to Hubei.

Recently, the world's highest altitude 800 kilovolt ultra-high-voltage direct current transmission project designed and constructed by China Electric Power Construction has officially started delivering electricity to Hubei. The Jinshang to Hubei Ultra High Voltage Project is a key project in the national "West-East Power Transmission" strategic deployment, and is the first large-capacity water-light complementary pure clean energy inter-regional direct current transmission channel in the country. It is also the first ultra-high voltage direct current project to enter the hinterland of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
