German industrial new orders have declined for the third consecutive month.

Data released by the German Federal Statistical Office on the 5th local time shows that, after seasonal and working day adjustment, Germany's industrial new orders in July decreased by 2.9% month-on-month, marking the third consecutive month of decline. The German Federal Statistical Office stated in a declaration that in the same month, new orders in the transportation equipment manufacturing sector, including aircraft, ships, and trains, experienced a significant decrease of 38.6% month-on-month, which was the main reason for the overall decline in industrial new orders. In addition, new orders in the automotive industry increased by 6.5% month-on-month.
