The African Aviation Summit will kick off in Rwanda in 2025.

The 2025 Africa Aviation Summit, with the theme of "Unlocking Africa's Growth Potential through Cooperation - How can Africa achieve sustainable development in the aviation industry?" opened in Rwanda from September 4th to 5th. This industry event, which brought together over 1,700 aviation professionals from around the world, as well as more than 120 airlines and manufacturers, will push the discussion on Africa's low-altitude drone economy to the forefront. At the summit, China's first unmanned electric aircraft EH216-S, which has obtained airworthiness certification and complete independent intellectual property rights, completed its first flight on the African continent. China's first unmanned manned aircraft EH216-S, which has been issued the "three airworthiness certificates" by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, including the aircraft type certificate, production license, and standard airworthiness certificate, completed its first flight on the African continent.
