Hock Tan, CEO of Broadcom, said on Thursday that the company expects a "substantial improvement" in its artificial intelligence revenue growth for the fiscal year 2026 after securing a new customer with an AI infrastructure order exceeding $10 billion. As of March, when Broadcom submitted its proxy statement, Tan was 73 years old and he also stated that he will continue to lead the company for at least another five years. Investors welcomed this news, with the stock price rising 4% in after-hours trading.
