The Congo is experiencing a new outbreak of Ebola.

The Minister of Health of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kanba, said on the 4th that an Ebola outbreak has occurred in the central province of Kasa, making it the 16th Ebola outbreak in Congo since 1976. Kanba stated at a press conference in the capital Kinshasa that the Bralape area in Kasa has reported 28 suspected cases of Ebola infection, including 15 deaths. He emphasized that these data are preliminary and that investigations are still ongoing.
