The State Administration of Work Safety has issued a notice on the "Key Research and Development Catalogue of Intelligent Robots in Mines", which was approved at the 14th bureau meeting of the State Administration of Work Safety in 2025. The State Administration of Work Safety encourages and supports mining companies, equipment companies, universities, research institutes, and other institutions to jointly carry out scientific and technological research to accelerate the development and industrial application of intelligent robots in mines, promote the substitution of robots for dangerous, arduous, dirty jobs, effectively prevent and control major safety risks, and enhance the intrinsic safety level of mines. The State Administration of Work Safety will actively provide relevant policy support and information services.
