IATA: In July, global demand for air freight increased by 5.5% year-on-year.

According to the latest data from the Zhitong Finance APP, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) regular data on global air cargo demand for July 2025 shows that global air cargo total demand, measured in freight tonne kilometers (CTK), increased by 5.5% compared to July 2024 (international demand increased by 6.0%). Air cargo capacity (available cargo tonne kilometers, ACTK) increased by 3.9% compared to July 2024 (international capacity increased by 4.5%).
