Banking sector A-share market value returns to first place.

On September 4, 2025, the market value of the A-share banking sector reached 11.31 trillion yuan, surpassing the electronics sector and reclaiming the top spot in the A-share market. Among them, Agricultural Bank of China had a market value of over 2.4 trillion yuan, ranking first and setting a new historical high; Industrial and Commercial Bank of China had a market value of over 2 trillion yuan, ranking second. The A-share market value of the electronics sector fell to second place at 11.14 trillion yuan, with Industrial Fulian's A-share market value approaching 1.06 trillion yuan in the top spot, and SMIC's A-share market value of 502.857 billion yuan in second place.
