CAAM: In July, the sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 53.0% of the total sales of passenger cars.

According to the China Passenger Car Association, in July, the sales volume of passenger cars in the market was 1.843 million units, an increase of 1.5% year-on-year and a decrease of 13.9% month-on-month; the sales volume of new energy vehicles was approximately 976,000 units, an increase of 10.5% year-on-year and a decrease of 12.1% month-on-month, showing slightly better performance than the overall market. In July, the sales volume of new energy vehicles accounted for 53.0% of the total passenger car sales, an increase of 1.1% from the previous month, and a 4.3% increase compared to the same period last year.
