The $2 trillion Norwegian sovereign wealth fund announced last week that it was divesting from Caterpillar, as the company's products such as bulldozers were used by Israeli authorities for "widespread and systematic violations of international humanitarian law," such as "large-scale illegal destruction of Palestinian property." The fund stated that Caterpillar "failed to take any action to prevent such use."
