The China Banking Association has released the "China Financial Leasing Industry Development Report (2025)", which shows that by the end of 2024, the total number of financial leasing companies reached 67, with total assets and leasing assets increasing by 9.65% and 10.24% respectively. Direct leasing business grew significantly by 52.73%. Industry profits and net profits increased by 13.36% and 13.79% respectively year-on-year, with a decrease in non-performing asset ratio. Aircraft and ship leasing businesses have become the industry's mainstay.
