Data shows that the GDP grew by 1.8% year-on-year in the quarter, higher than the forecast of 1.6%, and significantly higher than the 1.3% growth in the previous quarter; the quarter-on-quarter growth rate reached 0.6%, also exceeding market expectations of 0.5%.
