On September 2, Fitch Ratings awarded SK hynix Inc (referred to as "SK hynix", 000660.KSBBB/Positive) a proposed issuance of US dollar-denominated senior unsecured notes with a "BBB" rating. SK hynix intends to use the net proceeds from this issuance for refinancing existing debt and general corporate purposes (including repayment of outstanding borrowings). The rating of the proposed notes is in line with SK hynix's senior unsecured rating as they represent the company's direct, unconditional, unsecured, and non-subordinated debt.
