Tianfeng International Securities analyst Guo Mingchi released a blog post on September 3 revealing that Apple plans to launch a lightweight head-mounted device called Vision Air in 2027 to address the current issues of weight and high price of the Vision Pro headset. Guo Mingchi disclosed that Apple will redesign the Vision Air headset, focusing on optimizing comfort and cost control. The core improvements will be reflected in a significant reduction in weight and price. In terms of weight, Vision Air is expected to be more than 40% lighter than the Vision Pro (600 grams), which means the weight may be reduced to around 360 grams.
