Yonghui Supermarket has completed the transformation of 11 stores in Shanghai, and the stores that have been operating steadily for 3 months have initially achieved profitability.

On September 2nd, it was reported that Yonghui Supermarket's Jinhuilonghu store in Fengxian, Shanghai will open on September 4th, becoming the 11th store in Shanghai to undergo the "Pangdonglai model" transformation. This move signifies the completion of Yonghui's quality retail upgrade strategy in Shanghai. It is said that this round of transformation has created over 900 job positions, with significantly increased employee salaries and benefits such as 10 days of paid annual leave after one year of service, free staff meals, and holiday shopping cards. It is worth noting that stabilized stores in Shanghai that have been open for 3 months have already achieved overall profitability. This operating model is gradually expanding to surrounding areas, with stores in Suzhou Taicang and Wujiang in the Shanghai region also achieving initial profitability since their transformation. Additionally, four stores in Jiaxing are expected to complete their transformation in November this year, further validating the replicability and sustainability of this model in different regions. In the future, Yonghui hopes to gradually promote its experience to other areas in the Yangtze River Delta based on continuous refinement of the "Shanghai model," aiming to establish a regional development pattern with Shanghai as the core and orderly expansion to surrounding cities.
